Directivo 6.4a annoyance

Series 2 DirecTivo. 2 tuners enabled.

I'm almost positive the "problem" only started with the latest software 
upgrade. It it is already do***ented please forgive me because I have not 
seen it.

Ok, say I've been recording a movie for the last 15 minutes on tuner A and

have been watching something else live on tuner B. Now I decide to start 
watching the show being recorded on tuner A and skip the commercials. If I

catch up the the real-time movie broadcast (or within about 5 minutes of
it) 
before the recording ends  and decide to watch tuner B for a while, when I

go back to tuner A, my spot where I left off will not be remembered. It
will 
start back at the beginning. Pre 6.4a brought you right back to where your

movie left off.

Has anyone else noticed this? I highly doubt if it's a feature.
