Last November TiVo and Nero announced a partner****p to bring the TiVo
experience to the PC, and today they've unveiled the result: Nero
LiquidTV | TiVo PC.

I think it looks pretty good. They really recreated the TiVo
interface on the PC, and the retail box includes a TiVo Peanut
remote. And it has sensible enhancements since it is on a PC, like
burning recordings directly to DVD, and easily copying content to
****table devices. You can also use the TiVo interface to play back
disc media. And a PC running LiquidTV appears like another TiVo on
the LAN, and can transfer video to and from standalone TiVo units via
MRV. (Something ReplayTV really screwed up with their PC software, it
couldn't talk to ReplayTV hardware.)
