I don't look at the Suggestions group every day. Maybe once a week.
Today, I had a look and found an episode of Dirty Jobs which I had not
seen,
recorded from Discovery on October 5th at 16:00.
But I have a season pass for Dirty Jobs, on Discovery HD, set to record
old
and new episodes, with no duplicates (I only recently started watching the
program, so most re-runs are new to me). This episode did not record on
the
season pass. There was apparently a mini-marathon of sorts on that day,
and
the recording history shows episodes at 15:00, 18:00, and 19:00 that were
not
recorded, on account of being duplicates. There was no entry in the
history
list for the show at 16:00, or for the one at 17:00, which I also had not
seen
(i.e. was never recorded by the TiVo), but wasn't recorded.
The two episodes that should have been recorded, but weren't, were "Jobs
that
Bite" and "Jobs that Bite Harder". The first is the one that was recorded
as
a suggestion, on the wrong channel (SD instead of HD).
Any explanations? Failure to recognize the episodes as part of the
series?
Interference of some kind from the suggestion mechanism?
