I called TiVo this evening because my initial 2 yers will be up next
month. I wanted to NOT renew as I can get the same deal except for
logging remotely and setting up a recording from the cable company
PVR. They asked me how much the cable company is going to charge, so I
told them $9.99 and they reduced my TiVo service price to match it to
keep me as a customer.
So all you folks thinking of getting a PVR from the cable company can
now call em up and get your fee reduced.
Now on another note, my TiVo is hooked up downstairs, and I need to
move it upstairs and hook it up to my complicated AV system.
