Sudden "freezes" on Series 2

Starting this morning, our Series 2 unit is "freezing" during live TV and 
playback.  The screen freezes for a second or two, then picks up exactly 
where it stopped.  There's no pixelation or signal degradation that I can 
see or hear in playback.  Depending on the channel, I sometimes see 
pixelation on live tv when it freezes.

It's not in the recording.  My wife watched the first half of a recorded 
show last night and there were no problems.  When she watched the second 
half after dinner today, she got the pauses.  

The software is 9.3.1-01-2-140, but I don't know when it installed.

Has anyone else had this problem?
