Probably futile questions, but can anyone answer the following?
1. Is there a way to "upgrade" the DSR-921 so it can be authorized by
US-based companies? (DSR-921 is the Starchoice receiver which apparently
has the same software as the DSR-920). I've heard it may be possible to
replace the mainboard with that of a DSR-920.
2. Are there any programmers that can authorize/hit from Ku band? or is
that the exclusive realm of C-band?
3. Has anyone managed to download the 4dtv Channel maps into a DSR-921?
Thanks in advance. I'd like to put this piece of hardware to use even if
just for unencrypted DCII.
